01 / Who we are and what this policy covers

Intertie.ai Inc, a Delaware corporation doing business as INTERTIE.ai (“INTERTIE.ai,” “we,” “us” or “our”), operates intertie.ai. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this public website, research downloads and related business enquiries.

It does not replace privacy or data-processing terms in a separate customer, employment or other written agreement. Information about a proposed or contracted infrastructure or cloud service is subject to the applicable agreement and notices.

02 / Information we collect

• Information you provide. When you email us, we receive your email address, name and any organisation, contact details, correspondence or documents you choose to provide. Please do not send sensitive personal information through an initial enquiry.
• Research downloads. We collect the email address you submit, the requested report and version, the first and latest request times, request counts, download-request counts and the latest download-request time. We also record the notice version shown at registration and maintain a short-lived download authorisation.
• Technical information. Our website and service providers process connection and device information, such as IP address, requested URL, browser and operating system, to deliver and secure the site. Our download service temporarily uses a hashed network identifier for abuse prevention.
• Usage and performance information. On pages with analytics enabled, Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights process page views, referring sites, approximate location, browser and device characteristics, performance measurements and limited interaction events, such as clicking a contact link. We do not send the email entered in the download form as an analytics event.

03 / How we use information

We use this information to deliver requested reports, respond to enquiries, manage business correspondence, operate and improve the website, understand usage and performance, prevent misuse, maintain records, comply with legal obligations and establish or protect legal rights.

Submitting an email to download a report does not subscribe you to marketing emails. If you separately request updates, you can stop receiving those updates by following the message instructions or contacting us.

04 / Cookies, analytics and tracking choices

The report-download function uses a secure, first-party cookie named __Secure-intertie_research. It is limited to the download service and expires after 15 minutes. It enables access to the report you requested; it is not an advertising cookie. Blocking it may prevent the download, but you can still read the public research article.

Vercel Web Analytics uses request-derived identifiers rather than analytics cookies. Vercel describes its analytics as aggregate measurement without tracking an individual across unrelated websites; Speed Insights measures page performance. We do not use advertising pixels on this website, sell personal information collected here, or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not authorise our analytics providers to use this integration to track you across unrelated websites for advertising. Browser Do Not Track signals do not change the site’s current operation. Global Privacy Control signals do not require a sale or targeted-advertising opt-out under our current practices; we will honour legally applicable opt-out signals if those practices change.

You can use your browser’s privacy settings and controls to block cookies or analytics requests. External sites, including our linked social profile, apply their own policies when you visit them.

05 / When we disclose information

We disclose information to providers that support website hosting, security, analytics, email and related business administration, to the extent needed for those services. Current website providers include Hetzner for hosting and Vercel for usage and performance analytics; business email uses Google Workspace.

To review and follow up enquiries, our team also uses workplace collaboration and messaging tools, including Lark (provided from Singapore), Feishu (provided in the People’s Republic of China) and messaging apps such as WeChat. Details you send in an enquiry, such as your name, organisation, contact details and the content of your message or attachments, may be recorded or discussed in these tools by the people working on your enquiry. Research-download records are kept on our US-hosted download service.

We may also disclose information to professional advisers; where reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process or a valid government request; to protect rights, safety and security; or in connection with a proposed or completed merger, financing, acquisition or transfer of business assets, subject to applicable law. Other disclosures may occur at your direction or with your consent.

06 / Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, taking into account the type of information, ongoing correspondence, legal and recordkeeping requirements, security needs and the establishment or defence of claims. The download cookie’s 15-minute lifetime is not the retention period for the email and request record. We keep research-download records for up to 24 months after your most recent download request and then delete them. We keep enquiry correspondence while the discussion continues and then for up to six years for business-record and legal purposes, unless the law requires a longer period. You may ask us to remove your information earlier using the contact details below, subject to applicable legal exceptions.

We use technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted website connections and restricted access to download records. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

07 / International processing

Intertie.ai Inc is a United States company. Website and download infrastructure is hosted in the United States. Our personnel and service providers, including the collaboration and messaging tools described above, may process information in the United States, Singapore, the People’s Republic of China and other countries where our team works. Their laws may differ from those where you live. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we must use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism; this policy is not a request to waive those protections.

08 / Your choices and privacy rights

You can ask to review, correct or remove your enquiry or research-download information by emailing partner@intertie.ai with the subject “Privacy request.” Please identify the email address or interaction involved. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or an authorised agent’s authority; do not send identity documents unless requested through an appropriate channel.

Depending on your location and which laws apply, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a portable copy of personal information; object to or restrict processing; withdraw consent for consent-based processing; or opt out of certain uses. We will handle applicable requests within the legally required time and explain any lawful exception. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

If we decline a request, you may reply to the same address with “Privacy appeal.” Where an appeal right applies, we will review it and explain the outcome and available next steps. You may also complain to the relevant privacy regulator or state attorney general.

Where European Economic Area or United Kingdom data-protection law applies, our processing grounds depend on the purpose: legitimate interests in operating a secure business website and responding to enquiries, performance of a contract or steps you request before one, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where required. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

09 / Children

This is a business website intended for adults, not children under 18. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.

10 / Policy changes

We may update this policy as the website, our practices or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. We will post material changes here and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by law. An update does not by itself authorise a new use that requires your consent.
